Thando Thabethe applied for urgent protection order against Lunga Shabalala who is her ex boyfriend

It has been reported that Thando Thabethe fears for her safety around Lunga Shabalala who she used to date. Thando and Lunga broke up last year October in 2022 but Lunga still wants to see Thando. It has been reported that Lunga still visits Thando’s house, and he claims that he is actually looking for his belongings from her house. Lunga seems to be very unlucky when it comes to relationships both on screen and his real life. They were a perfect match but things did not end up very well between them.

People are actually taking Lunga’s side because they think he is a very quiet man, who is not bothering anyone. I think people are mistaken of Lunga, all the characters that he plays on television he is always a victim. They don’t really know how he is in real life. I think Thando should just allow Lunga to come and get his belongings and stop ruining each other’s careers. What will happen after this to Lunga’s career? What if they never hire him or allow him to host any shows in the entertainment industry? Then again I get that Thando is a woman and she fears for her safety. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her opening a protection order. Let us hope that she is not lying and then drop the charges afterwards.

People like Lunga deserves to be given a chance to say their side of the story because being accused of such thing it is not good at all.

Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa Ecstatic over International Best Actress Award.

South African actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is overjoyed after winning the Best Actress award at the Screen ATX awards for her outstanding portrayal of Grace Molotsi in the series “Four Walls.”

In the limited series, Molotsi, a married nurse from a township, finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship, reaching her breaking point. However, her plans to escape take an unforeseen turn when two fugitives from a failed cash-in-transit robbery invade her home and hold her hostage.

The esteemed Screen ATX Awards ceremony took place at Galaxy Theatres in Austin, Texas, in April. Mlotshwa took to social media to express her elation, giving thanks to her producers, directors, fellow cast members, and crew for their invaluable contributions to her success. Although she couldn’t attend the ceremony in person, she expressed her gratitude for the honor bestowed upon her.

In a video message, Mlotshwa shared her excitement, remarking that winning the award was a tremendous pleasure and a significant milestone in her career. Playing the role of Molotsi was an incredibly fulfilling experience for her, as she aimed to portray the authentic and heartfelt journey of many women affected by gender-based violence. By bringing these stories to life, Mlotshwa hopes to inspire empathy and initiate meaningful conversations that lead to tangible change in a country burdened by alarming GBV (gender-based violence) statistics.

“Four Walls” features a talented ensemble cast, including Khulu Skenjana as Grootman, Gift Leotlela as Lefa, Jeff Jackson as Dice, and Israel Matseke Zulu lending his voice to the character of Ace. The series is co-directed by Juvais Dunn, Menzi Mzimela, and Kgosana Monchusi.

Mlotshwa emphasized that portraying Molotsi was both a challenging and enjoyable experience. She felt a tremendous responsibility to authentically represent the experiences of women facing severe GBV, ensuring that every moment on screen reflected Grace’s thoughts, emotions, movements, and struggles. By bringing audiences into the homes of these women and exposing the desperation that accompanies such abuse, Mlotshwa aims to foster empathy and ignite conversations that drive substantial societal change.

The local premiere dates for “Four Walls” are yet to be announced, but Mlotshwa’s award-winning performance has already captured international attention, filling her with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment for her contribution to impactful storytelling.
