People can’t stop talking about a picture that’s going viral on Twitter of a person who was at the graduation ceremony. The photo was taken by one of the graduates. People began to feel emotional and sad after they observed that every student who was present at this graduation ceremony appeared to be well-dressed and elegant, with the exception of this one individual.

 

One of the most important and memorable days in one’s life, graduation day is one that should be celebrated with joy and gratitude. People took notice of the fact that this person on his special day was not even wearing shoes, but instead was sporting sandals that appeared to be of poor quality. “The circumstances of the present can be a temporary obstacle, but they will in no way decide your destiny. After seeing this picture of a low-income student who couldn’t afford an appropriate clothing for her graduation day, a number of people on Twitter experienced strong emotional responses. “This is sad because even that gown is not a guarantee that he will have a better life,” wrote one Twitter user. However, many people of Twitter were left feeling proud after posting “Very sad. On the other hand, the fact that he shoed up makes me proud. Another user of Twitter wished him luck in finding work and sent their best wishes.

When the escape saga of Thabo Bester came to be known to South Africans, the family of Katlego Bereng did not know that this will hit home as they did not have any connection with Thabo Bester at all. But it was the body of Katlego that linked them to Thabo Bester and this comes as Katlego’s body was the one which was burnt in Mangaung Correctional Center cell 35 where Thabo Bester was housed. The family was not expecting this at all because they were still of the hope that Katlego would still one day come back home and this comes after he went missing in 2022.

 

Now the family is having the funeral of Katlego Bereng and all this thanks to Thabo Bester who wanted to escape from prison at all cost. It did not matter for him who get hurts in the whole process as long as he was free, that was the altinate goal. The family is burying him with heavy hearts because they still have so many unanswered questions. And worse of it is that no one who has been held accountable to his death, and this is because those who where arrested and charged with murder, the charges have been drooped.

Katlego Bereng’s mother still can’t believe that her son is indeed gone. It is so heartbreaking seeing how she wanted to hold on to the picture of Katlego that was displaced around the coffin. And to think that Dr Nandipha wanted to cremate his body so that he can never be found, it’s just something else. So far the family feels let down by the state and we know that they are planning to sue them. The police need to investigate how the body of Katlego Bereng was moved from the government hospitals and then to governments mutuary where the body was eventually claimed by Dr Nandipha.

This is because many of the people that went missing they are found dead which is wrong, we must make sure that we are always ahead of criminals and we deal with those that are hijacking and kidnapping people in our communities.

If we can unite as community members we can be able to find solutions which we can implement them if one of the kid in our communities is missing.

It is very painful to lose your child because as parents we have a dream of seeing our children making it in life and graduating in universities and colleges n getting a job so that they can have their own families.

The family is still calling for justice for Katlego because no one deserve to be killed and people who are behind his murder must be found and face the consequences of what they did.

Katlego Bereng will finally be laid to rest. Until recently, his family had no idea that his body was driven into Mangaung Prison and set alight in Thabo Bester’s brazen prison escape.

Many are still scratching their heads at how Katlego Bereng’s charred body was found in the convicted murderer and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester’s cell.

Various organisations are coming forward to support Katlego Bereng’s family at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court. They’re pleading with the court not to grant the accused bail in the Thabo Bester escape case.

Tony Forbes and Lynn accompanied their granddaughter Kario Forbes on stage to collect AKA’s Metro Fm awards on stage, a very touching moment for family of AKA to show up on his behalf to receive his award. AKA was shot and killed and it is a sad moment for the family especially for her mother who couldn’t hold her tears on stage when they collected the award.

 

 

Today Keirnan Forbes won an Metro Award which was collected by her only daughter indeed she is her father’s girl, after taking the Mic Kario sang her father song on stage and she reminded some of AKA’s fans when she said ”come along sing with me”.

Kario has a lot of confidence like her father it will be a sad experience to watch how his music still wins awards without him to be there to celebrate his victory, the family came out on his behalf today Lynn on stage said ” Keirnan Forbes you continue to make us proud”.

The 35-year-old rapper was shot and killed but his name is still on the face of the media that will make it difficult for those that wished him dead, he will continue to hunt them even when he is no more. This shows that of AKA was alive, he would continue to bless South Africans with great music but now he left fans with mass county that is the last album that was dropped after he was assassinated in Durban.

The album which was released after his death is making history and he will always be remembered about this last album and other great hits.
