Ndlovu Youth Choir’s Jerusalema Rendition Receives Mixed Reactions How do you feel about it?

Mzanis’s renowned Ndlovu Youth Choir, has received mixed feelings following the release of their very own rendition of Master KG’s hit song Jerusalema. Master KG’s song featuring Nomcebo Zikode has officially become the biggest record in the world.

Jerusalema was recently announced as the most Shizamed song in the world, proving that it is a smash hit. Ndlovu Youth Choir’s Jerusalema rendition was recently released, but instead of receiving many praises it has left some disappointed.

The rendition features the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge, which has sparked a phenomenal global dance frenzy across the globe. As the country is gearing up for heritage day tomorrow, many will head the president’s call to participate in the challenge.

President Cyril Ramaphosa recently endorsed the challenge to enlighten the country’s celebration for the day, as we celebrate our diversity and we cannot wait to see the beautiful clips.

“I urge everyone to use this public holiday as family time, to reflect on the difficult journey we have all traveled, to remember those who have lost their lives, and to quietly rejoice the remarkable and diverse heritage of our nation,”

“And there can be no better way to celebrate of our South African-ness than joining the global phenomenon that is spreading across the world and that is the Jerusalema dance challenge. The Jerusalema song that I love so much So I urge all of you to take up this challenge on Heritage Day and show the world what we are capable of our perfomers have demonstrated to the world that we’ve got good music and good dance and good move, so quietly let’s celebrate our heritage,” said the president in a live televised address.

The choir decided to do the challenge but tweeps are not feeling it. Many believe they ruined the beautiful song with their own spin-off.
