DJ Maphorisa is a platinum-selling and record producer in South Africa. Born Themba “Sonny Boy” Sekowe on 15 November 1987 currently 32 years.

He has worked with numerous artists all over the world including big names like Drake, Wizkid, Black coffee, Beyonce, and many others. He has been involved in several scandals on social media from allegations of human trafficking to rumors of dating younger girls.

A lot of people have questioned his nationally since he looks more Nigerian. He was born in Soshanguve Pretoria and was raised by his mother. Little is know about his family but his father is reported to be Nigerian.

He grew up in SA and his mother influenced his musical career as she was in ministry. Reportedly he charges anything from R120000 per gig to book him. He has managed to keep his love life a secret. However, the prominent Dj recently made headlines on social media after two teenage girls were fighting for him. Maphorisa has not commented on the allegations yet.
