Many people used to know Sophie as a Generations actress who had a bubbly personality, however when her chronic illness worsened many people were left in disbelief.

The actress lost weight rapidly and her phsycal appearance changed drastically leaving fans worried if she would pull through. Surprisingly just like the brave mother and wife she is, Sophie didn’t give on battling sugar diabetes as she was able to recover so well that she went back to her old self looking as beautiful as ever.

The actress has always been open about her chronic illness and she has become an ambassador of people living with diabetes in South Africa. On her recent photos on Instagram the actress is looking more beautiful and dazzling as ever.
