The woman who currently owns the Miss South Africa title Lalela Mswane shed tears when she was speaking with the news department at OR Tambo airport in Gauteng.

Many South Africans were happy when Lalela from Richards Bay, KwaZulu Natal province won Miss South Africa, but there was noise after it was announced that she would represent the country at the Miss Universe competition that was held in Isreal, even South African government had made it clear that they are against Lalela’s decision to travel

 

 

 

 
Speaking at a press conference Lalela who had eyes filled with tears said the government’s decision not to support her broke her heart as it made her feel like she has done something wrong.

I felt abandoned, i was angry and heart broken at the same time because i couldn’t understand what I’ve done wrong. I don’t have a problem with them being against all the decisions i take but this doesn’t mean they have to stand on my way. Some people have been wishing death upon me just because i chose to make my own decisions. I didn’t mean to cause any harm to anyone with the decision i took but i did what i had to do to fullfil my dream.
