Upon Etv’s soap opera Rhythm City seizing production, House Of Zwide broadcasted its first episode on the 19th of July 2021, replacing Rhythm City. Although change brings out uncertainty and challenges, but the fresh and new start is exciting.

House of Zwide introduces us to the world of fashion, drama and ruthless ambition between two families from Johannesburg. There’s so much talent in the cast with the likes of Vusi Kunene, Khaya Dladla and other new faces including Nefisa Mkhabela.

Nefisa Mkhabela plays the role of Onalerona Molapo, a very ambitious young lady from Thembisa with big dreams of working for the famous successful fashion designer Funani Zwide. The paternity of Onalerona is one deceitful past that will soon define her life and her family’s.

At 20 years old, Nefisa’s future in the entertainment industry is looking brighter. Her character on House of Zwide so far has captured so many hearts, she’s very beautiful and also talented. Nefisa first appeared on television when she landed a supporting role of Mbali on the 1Magic drama series Unmarried. She also had a leading role on Mzansi Magic’s original movie Ispaza Sasekhaya. We looking forward to seeing more of her acting on House of Zwide, as the drama unfolds.
