Master KG has weaved his name into a global brand thanks to his chart topping song Jerusalema.

The glove trotting icon performed in Zimbabwe today as part of that country’s main Independence celebrations.

 
The celebrations were held in Zimbabwe’s second largest city of Bulawayo. This was the first time that the Independence Celebrations were held outside Harare.

Thousands of people were in attendance.

The performance was made possible by one of Zimbabwe’s richest guys – Passion Java.

Java is the Zimbabwean pastor who amassed a bill worth millions at a Pretoria club and posted the invoice on social media.

Java is a close friend of Master KG.

“Master KG is a big brand and a friend of Passion Java who loves Zimbabwe so he decided to come and celebrate the country’s Independence with us,” said Boss Lashan.

Zimbabwe’s main Independence celebrations were presided over by president Emmerson Mnangagwa who addressed the thousands who thronged the venue.
