Makhadzi celebrates 20 million streams on Spotify

As the year comes to an end, singer Makhadzi – real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona celebrated her Spotify numbers as she announced her ranking this year on the music platform as seen in her Instagram post shared on Thursday, 30 November.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Makhadzi is on a winning streak! She recently made history as the most streamed South African female artist on Spotify recently — But that’s not all, she also recently bagged a car endorsement with Ford and was recently awarded the Best Traditional Album award at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), ZiMoja reported.Taking to her feed on Thursday, she said that reaching the top of Spotify’s streams list did not come easy. She then thanked her diehard fans for their unwavering support.

I work hard [andOther artists that were also spotted celebrating their Spotify streams on social media are Oscar Mbo who reached 10.1 million streams and Prince Kaybee who got up to 10.7 million streams. Makhadzi has recently paid tribute to one of her dancers who passed away last month. Once again, taking to her feed, she bid the dancer farewell and sent her condolences to his family.“Moments shared will always be cherished. Friendships created, bonds formed beyond our imagination. Hearts torn into pieces in disbelief that today we are covered in this blanket called grief…. RIP. Condolences to the family and friends,” she wrote.
