Lerato Zah on a healing journey – taking one step at a time

It’s wonderful to see Mzansi actress Lerato Zah back in the public eye and looking great regardless of her recent heartache. Eversince her mother died from cancer a few months ago, Lerato had taken a break from social media and big screens as she mourned her dear mother Candy Moloi AKA Vho-Makhadzi.

On Thursday, Lerato took to Twitter to share her healing journey. “Healing is an art… it takes time, it takes practice, it takes LOVE. ♥️”

The former Muvhango and Rhythm City actress has been doing her best to honor her departed mother. A month after her dear mother’s death, Lerato decided to shave her head in her late mother’s honour.

” It was important for me to have my hair shaved off today in honour of my Mama. It was brain cancer that killed her essentially. The last six months of her life, she didn’t have hair on her head due to chemotherapy and that bothered her so much. She would often ask me if her hair would ever grow back and I would assure her that it would, “Lerato wrote on her Instagram page.

Candy, best known for her role as Vho-Makhadzi on the SABC2 soapie “Muvhango”, died in a Pretoria hospital back in August at the age of 67.
