Lerato Kganyago is not new in the winners table, as she also has a growing brand under her name called ‘Flutter by LKG’ which makes luxury eyelashes and sanitary pads.
She’s been heavily involved in philanthropic work too! She donated sanitary pads to charities. She recently hosted the Period Poverty Benefit Concert where Zalebs and other well-known DJ’s, including President Cyril Ramaphosa got together to help put an end to period poverty. The virtual concert took place on the 5th, the dress code was red.Everyone in attendance promised to donate 100 sanitary pads each to a charity organization of their choice. Speaking about the concert, LKG said, “Not being able to go to school or earn a living simply because you do not have access to sanitary pads is heartbreaking. This challenge can be so easily resolved. I hope that this event will help play a small but pivotal role in helping us all join together to fight period poverty, and therefore help young girls and women realise their dreams.”
