Kwaito star Thokozani Ndlovu, popularly known as Lvovo Derrango, has suffered a minor stroke.

Thokozani “L’vovo Derrango” Ndlovu, a Kwaito musician, is in the hospital after having a stroke.

The artist, who has won many awards, had a “minor stroke” while performing at Indwedwe on Friday night.

The 42-year-old star is “responding well to treatment,” according to his company and family.

On Saturday, December 24, his record label, Derrango Records, said this was true.

The record label says that Ndlovu had a small stroke while performing at Ndwedwe in KwaZulu-Natal on December 23.

He is said to be in the hospital getting care, and he is doing well, according to reports.

In a statement, the record label said, “We ask that you keep him in your prayers, and we are sure that he will come out of this hard situation even stronger.”

During this hard time, L’vovo’s family also asked to be left alone.

Ndlovu was in a car accident earlier this year and spent a month in ICU at Greys Hospital.

The South African said before that L’vovo had a head-on collision with a truck in his hometown of Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. He told Isolezwe that he is learning to walk again because he hurt his leg in the car accident.

The news comes just one day after another Kwaito and Gqom artist and member of Big Nuz, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, had a small stroke after a show, was taken to the hospital, and later died.
