Idols South Africa is one of the most successful music reality competitions in South Africa known for creating stars, exposing South African talent and building them to reach their dreams. It seems like this competitio done just that to Lungisani Mthethwa.

Lungisani Mthethwa, mostly known as Mr Music, entered the competition in 2020, on the 16th season. He was crowned the runner- up, following season 16 winner Zama Khumalo.

 

 

 

 

 

Later on the show, Mr Music had the opportunity to release his single titled ‘Ngikhethe Kahle’, courtesy of Kalawa Jazmee Records. He released a music video for his single, which recieved a positive response from the public. The music video made him to win his first ever award on the 2021 Eminent Video Music Awards as the Best Newcomer Video on Ngikhethe Kahle.
