House of Zwide director and former Scandal! actor Kagiso Modupe has thanked for the succesful delivery of their son, Paballo Modupe. The producer-director Kagiso Modupe left his Instagram followers feeling emotional after he shared photos of his newborn son and his children at the hospital.He wrote: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the Modupe family presents and welcomes the arrival of our son Paballo yaBakwena Modupe. Special appreciation to my wife Liza, never have I ever witnessed such strength. You are a true proverbs 31 women. The love I have for you is immeasurable. Bakwena ba go leboga Mmarona. Our ancestors are rejoicing at this one. Pula.”The beloved actor-turned-director, who’s been dubbed the “Tyler Perry” of Mzansi also made headlines this past Mother’s Day, when he bought his wife a brand new Mercedes Benz.The film director and actor Kagiso Modupe also trended in October 2022, when he revealed interview on King David’s Podcast that he used his private part to become a millionaire. “It’s funny… I used my private parts to become a millionaire.When the podcaster asked him how he used his manhood to become a millionaire, the star adds that at the time he’d been married to his wife for 12 years and he was not circumcised.
He realised that since he is not circumcised he can educate and encourage other men to get circumcised.
Modupe approached Brothers For Life and Right to Care to start a public circumcision campaign to encourage men to get circumcised with him on the same day.
He created a social media advert that stated, he will receive R1 for every man that gets circumcised. The filmmaker was successful in persuading 1,1 million South African men to circumcise in just one day and was able to make his first million as a result of this campaign.
IOL reported that the millionaire’s film Losing Lerato which premiered in September 2019 hit the number one spot in around major theatres in Mzansi in the first week of its official release and became the first independent film to gross over R4.1 million in five weeks.
