Scams have become very common in South Africa, and anyone can become a victim of them. Many of these scams involve a situation where an individual will take another person’s money after promising them that they will provide them with a service, and then at the end of the day they start paying for that service but not receiving what was promised to them.

 

This is what happened to a woman who decided to go on social media and expose one of the most trusted surgeons in the country after she paid for one of the most well-known cosmetic surgeries known as a Brazilian butt lift, or BBL. The woman stated that the doctor is highly recommended and that many people who wanted cosmetic surgery have gone to him and received great results; the doctor is known as Brian Monais.

After the woman exposed the doctor for not wanting to return her money, which was close to R140 000, and also shared WhatsApp texts that revealed how she was constantly begging him to return her money, it was revealed that the doctor did not only scam the lady but also well-known traditional healer Gogo Skhotheni. Gogo Skhotheni shared that she paid the doctor R80 000 for cosmetic surgery as well, but he never delivered on what she paid for.

And she too had to deal with endless excuses from the plastic surgeon until he blocked her. But then Gogo Skhotheni decided to take another route in order to get her money back. She told the doctor that she is a traditional healer and not a witch, but she will deal with him the traditional way if she has to until he pays her back her money. Out of fear, the doctor then unblocked Gogo Skhotheni and asked her not to go the traditional route, saying he would pay her back what was due to her.
