On Generations The Legacy Kondleka plays Melokuhle the role of a school going teenager who struggles with family, friendship, and teenager problems. Melokuhle’s weakness is that she struggles under pressure and doesn’t keep secrets, she is the onset and offset friends with Bantu Petse who plays the role of Nontle Majola.


 

 

 

 

Generations actress Sibusisiwe Kondleka is the total opposite of her character in real life, The actress is always seen on screen as an innocent school girl in her school uniform but in real life the actress is serving nothing but serious body goals online.

Playing the role of Melokuhle on Generations was a breakthrough and it’s her first major role in the acting industry, she has also been featured on other tv shows such as Isithembiso and she played the character of Tumi.

Melokhule stays with her aunt who struggles to make ends meet, her aunt suffers from asbestosis as a result of nearby mining activities.

She first appeared on SA TV screens on December 5 2019 on a show that she had admired for a long time.

The former West Bank High School pupil had auditioned many times before landing the big role. The Generations team selected her after three rounds of callbacks in September.

She began shooting in October and said she was excited to explore the character of Melokuhle.

Despite playing the role of a 17-year-old school-going teen, Kondleka is a 24-year-old young woman who is a Public Relations and Media Communications University graduate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in real life. Previously, she had landed a role in the Mzansi Magic hit series, Isithembiso in February 2019, while still holding down a 9-5 job at a medical company doing PR.

To build her acting CV, she took on roles in commercials, music videos and short films and joined the Star Quality Management agency in Johannesburg.
