Family Believes Dj Sumbody Will Fight From His Grave

Just like the blood of Abel speaking from the grave in the Bible, the family of the late Oupa John Sefoka, known by the stage name of Dj Sumbody, prays that Sumbody get his revenge beyond grave. As Africans we have rituals that are performed if we suspect foulplay in the death of our loved ones. This is done to ensure their soul rest in peace, and to avenge against the killers.

Dj Sumbody was shot dead in a hail of bullets while traveling, in the early hours of Sunday in Joburg last month. He was laid to rest in Ga Masemola, Abel Cross in the Limpopo province. The dj ‘s aunt Motlakaladi Moshidi says they are waiting for the arrest of the killers. So far no one has been arrested for the murder of the dj according to SAPS.

The aunt Mme Motlakaladi, says they believe that God and the ancestors will interfere, so perpetrators will be caught and face the law. Speaking to Daily Sun Motlakadi said “We pray everyday that God and our ancestors will fight for our child. As a family we are traumatized and this festive season will never be the same without Oupa”.

The dj who came with the popular song “Monate Mpolaye” , was also an enterpreneur with businesses in Gauteng and Cape Town. He was well known for working with Casper Nyovest. May his soul rest in peace
