Being multi talented is a blessing because you get many opportunities and you get to do a lot of things and explore. Zozibini Tunzi is an example of a multitalented queen.

Zozibini Tunzi is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2019. She was also crowned Miss South Africa in 2019 but she has to give the title to the second runner. Besides that she also has a bachelor’s degree in public relations & image management.

 

 

Today she announced that she has been casted for a role on the international movie called ‘The woman king.’ She is also the third South African to be casted and she will be acting alongside Viola Davis, Thuso Mbedu and Makgotso Monyemorathoe.

In a Instagram post she said “I am so honored and excited to announce that I have been cast for the film, The Woman King ( @womankingmovie ) . It is a completely new world and first time experience for me so I enter it with the utmost respect and humility. Forever grateful and looking forward #TheWomanKing.”

Most people are congratulating her on this new opportunity while others are questioning her acting skills. A tweep said “Is she even that good or she’s just another Ntando Duma and Natasha? Connections.”

Another tweep also claimed that Zozi didn’t deserve the spot and she only got it because of connections. Someone replied to him saying “Connections may get you the audition but they won’t do the audition for you. She earned her spot.”

I honestly understand people’s frustration over Zozi getting the role especially because she doesn’t have the right right qualifications while those who are qualified are unemployed. But if she got the role that clearly means she deserved it and her acting skills were good so we should be happy for her. Do you guys think she deserved the role.
