Confirmed Idols Resident Judges have parted ways with the show

Idol’s South Africa is a music talent search show. It has been on air for the last 17 years. The South African edition of the show has been one of the most successful around the world. They’ve helped discover some of the country’s best vocalist and musicians. However the show is also known for its resident judges, there has been changes with the judging panel but only two remained and that is Unathi Nkayi and Randall Abrahams.

Most people called Randall the encyclopedia of music based on his knowledge in music. Mr Abrahams has a profound knowledge of records, he was very educational when it came to how he gave his respective opinion to contestants. Most people didn’t like the Idol’s judge as they felt he was being too strict to contestants. Whilst a number of people liked him for giving his honest opinion, which helped contestants to reach final stages of the show.

Unathi is very motherly to the contestants, but people loved seeing her cry on the show. Unathi isn’t one to hide her feelings, if a contestant connected with the song, and gave an emotional performance the Idols judge would cry to show her appreciation. She took her job very seriously. Her fashion sense on the show was breathtaking, it was on another level. She brang stability to the show.

It has been announced that the two Idol’s judges will no longer be a part of the show. After being a part of the show from the very beginning the two judges have parted ways with Idol’s. Viewers of the show have long suggested this, however it isn’t wise. I seriously doubt that there can ever be anyone fit enough to replace this two judges. They were uniquely good for the show , infact their contribution to the show made it the success it is today. Probably the production should have added judges than letting this ones go. People respected these two’s opinions even though they didn’t agree with them all the time but their opinion mattered.
