Zanele Potelwa announced as the newest host on Expresso

Zanele Potelwa joins the Expresso show as the newest host. The media personality is excited about this new career phase.


 

 

 

“We are excited to welcome @zanelepotelwa to the #ExpressoShow team as our new live show host in Johannesburg,” the TV show confirmed the report.

“I can’t believe I get to start this new journey! It’s a huge career highlight getting to be part of many South Africans’ mornings by waking them up in the best way possible, on S3,” she said.

Zanele announced joining the show on her social media account, and expressed gratitude.

PROTEAS ‘CHOKERS’ TAG
The Proteas have a history of starting well at World Cup tournaments, both in the 50-over and 20-over formats, only to “choke” in high-pressure games.

Popular comedian, MC and actress Lebohang Mpyana is making headlines in the backdrop of her untimely death. News of her untimely death made rounds on social media on 1 November 2023, and her family have since confirmed the news.

 

 

 

 
No doubt, she had quickly become one of Mzansi’s most celebrated actresses and wowed many with her unmatched flair on small screens. Mpyana is best known for her on-screen character of Khelina on the Mzansi Magic drama series DiepCity.Against the news of her untimely death, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots on the causes of her death. However, her family have since released a statement to confirm her death and the cause of her death.

Taking to social media on Thursday, 2 November 2023, family spokesperson T Mpyana said: “It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our daughter Lebogang Mpyana. Lebo died after a short illness. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers in this time of bereavement. Memorial service and funeral service details will follow”.

However, despite confirming the news, the family spokesperson did not reveal what the short illness was from.

Before her shot to fame, she once tried her luck on Idols SA. However, she wasn’t lucky enough but gained a considerable following across her social media platforms despite her dramatic exit from the reality competition.

The late Lebohang ‘Lettie’ Mpyana was born in Ga Mokgokong, Molotjie, Limpopo. She had her shot to fame when she bagged an acting gig at Thobela FM.

In the backdrop of her newfound fame, she switched the floor to comedy. She later debuted on small screens on the Mzansi Magic drama series DiepCity.
