No hugs, please! Maphorisa grills touchy peep

South African musician DJ Maphorisa — real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe — is one of the country’s most successful artists and this is something he is definitely aware of. Over the years, it has become increasingly clear that his talent comes with a massive ego and this has been criticised by his fans time and time again.

Despite this, he continues to stay true to himself and recently left X users bemused after he was recorded scolding a person for giving him a hug.

MAPHORISA SCOLDS PEEP WHO HUGGED HIM
Local hitmaker DJ Maphorisa is arguably one of the biggest things in music right now. He has produced hit after hit and everything he touches basically turns to gold.

It would appear that he is well aware of this and even headed online a few weeks ago to rant about how he is the one who has opened doors for other musicians and made them aware of what they could achieve in life.
