Sizwe Dhlomo – I’m not afraid to die

Sizwe Dhlomo prioritises his health despite not being afraid of death. The radio personality made this known after a Twitter user questioned his choice of not catching any diseases.


 

 

 

Sizwe reacted to a tweet that asked people to pick one out of four pills. The pills are, Be rich, Bring someone dead back, Never feel pain and Never catch a disease. The star chose “never catch a disease.

Zoleka was more than just the granddaughter of President Nelson Mandela. She inspired a nation through her campaigning and awareness for many causes. Zoleka regularly made headlines for her activism and work. Here are some highlights of her journey.

ZOLEKA MANDELA CAMPAIGNED FOR ROAD SAFETY
Zoleka Mandela tragically lost her daughter Zenani at the age of 13 in 2010 after a car accident. She later went on to become a worldwide campaigner for road safety for children, pioneering many projects such as the “Safe School Project”. Along with the Global Commission on Road Safety, Zoleka helped to raise awareness for road safety and helped prevent accidents across the country.

AN INSPIRATIONAL BREAST CANCER ACTIVIST
Zoleka was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She shared her experiences and brave journey throughout her battle to create awareness for the illness. Zoleka regularly documented her journey on her Instagram account, giving followers a look into her experience, while advocating for the awareness and treatment of cancer.

ZOLEKA’S BOOK GAVE PEOPLE HOPE
Zoleka released an autobiography in 2013 called When Hope Whispers. The book detailed her journey with cancer, her road safety campaign and her personal life. Her book received good reviews as it highlighted her triumph in the face of adversity and struggle.

THE ZOLEKA MANDELA FOUNDATION
Zoleka established The Zoleka Mandela Foundation in 2013 to uplift and educate people on social issues that affect South Africans. Through the foundation, she helped raise awareness for cancer and road safety. The social upliftment foundation had several posts and messages from Zoleka herself.

POSITIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE
Zoleka’s instagram account has around over 590,000 followers. She used her account to not only create awareness about cancer, but to promote positive and faith during the journey. Her last post before she passed ended with the words “Peace, Passion. Positivity”

Zoleka will remain a legend to Mzansi as many South Africans send their tribute to the beautiful activist. She will be remembered for her work towards important causes, her inspirational words and hope that she gave to many.

Amanda Black trolled for Maseru Jazz Festival look

The Idols SA star Amanda Black left Mzansi puzzled with her appearance when she showed up for her Maseru Jazz Festival performance in a plain dress and untidy hair .

The artist went viral after a Twitter (X app) user @MsRebaone shared her picture and complained about the singer’s physical presentation at a recent concert.


 

“I paid R250 for a ticket and Amanda Black came like this last night ko Maseru Jazz Festival,” said @MsRobe .

A popular social media user @Cellular_jnr defended the singer and said: “Stop judging people how they should be wearing… You went to the event to hear what she sings not what she’s wearing!”

@RefilweSeboko said: “I see nothing wrong with the outfit. She was wearing what most of yall look like in daily basis.”

While @TshegoRamadie slammed her “unpresentable” look and said: “I mean we don’t go to work looking like this lol…at least look decent.”

Former Springbok player Bryan Habana and his wife Janine celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in style at the Moët & Chandon winery in Épernay, France recently and gave social media users a glimpse inside their romantic and intimate getaway.


 

 

BRYAN HABANA AND HIS WIFE, JANINE MARKED THEIR 14TH ANNIVERSARY
Bryan Habana and his gorgeous wife, Janine celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in the gorgeous Moët & Chandon winery. The former Springbok player gave his fans and Instagram followers a peek into his luxurious anniversary via an Instagram post.

In the post, the lovely couple can be seen dressed in semi-casual outfits as they pose for a picture at the iconic wine estate. They took a tour of the estate and tasted a couple of bottles of Moët.

“Some way to celebrate 14 years of being married!!!” the iconic rugby player captioned his post.

Bryan and Janine tied the knot in September 2009. Janine is said to have arrived at the church in a carriage pulled by four white horses and looked like an angel in an elegant, white gown, IOL reported. She was accompanied by her beautiful flower girls who were said to have worn royal purple dresses.

The wedding is reported to have taken place at the high-walled Sorex Estate where the duo exchanged their vows in front of several guests including the WAGS and teammates of the Springboks and Blue Bulls.
