Sad news for all the fans of Major League DJz – Here’s why.

Major League DJz have pulled out of their performance residency in Ghana while they await payment for their last appearance. The amapiano stars were part of the Amapiano Mondays residency line-up in Accra, Ghana, for December 19 and 26 2022 and January 2 2023.

On Tuesday the DJs revealed they had not been remunerated for their previous performance, but expressed gratitude to their followers for the positive reception they received in their mission to expose the genre to a global audience.“Me and my brother would like to inform you that we will not be doing our residency in Ghana this year [due] to the presidency not paying us a single cent from our residency last year. I know everyone has been asking but they have left us with a very bad taste about coming to Ghana. It’s been a whole year and nothing,” read the statement.

“We have nothing but love for Ghana and the movement we started there but people like the presidency take advantage of people who are always trying to do good. Thank you all for the support.”In another post, the DJs expressed how they felt it was unfortunate for them to come to this decision.

“Sad but this is our reality. Such an amazing movement for the culture. And our governments are on such good terms. We don’t even need visas to go from South Africa to Ghana and vice versa.”

He treats us [the team working under the label] like we’re his children and makes us feel at home. We’re here to make music and learn about life. We’ve got that father-and-son relationship going on because he teaches us a lot.

“He shows us everything. He makes us understand how everything is going to go and how you’re going to feel and when you go through it, you appreciate every moment remembering he told you about it. So it’s a blessing to be able to be shown the right way,” he said.

Speaking to Cooking365, Young Stunna said more than anything, Kabza’s spirit is loved by all.

“That’s my father, I call him my father because he teaches you more than music. It is not about music to him, this is a calling, and we shouldn’t play with it because we are going to suffer. I feel like Kabza is a blessing to everyone who is close to him and if he doesn’t like you that means your spirit is not as pure as you think it is, you need to fix something.”

Taylor Swift breaks silence on psychological torture from Kanye West

Taylor Swift has just shed some light on the psychological pain that followed Kanye West’s comments a few years ago. She weighed in on things during one of her most recent conversations with Time magazine, after being named the Person of the Year.

Before starting the conversation she called the issue a “career death” that sparked a lot of backlash. For those unversed, this is in relation to the ‘vulgar’ song West released back in 2016, with Swift’s name at the forefront. At the time West accused her of being ‘his’ creation and even shared a recording of their phone call, that seemingly portrayed the rapper getting ‘permission’ to release the track. It alleges Swift took a ‘shortcut’ into fame, through him.
When Swift ‘proved’ the permission to be false, West released an illegally recorded phone call that perpetuated something different. Referencing the entire thing Swift began the conversation by saying, “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.

Not to mention, “I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard. Before signing off she also said, “I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life.
