Shauwn Mkhize building 20 homes for the underprivileged

Shauwn MkhizeReality star and businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize has joined forces with SABC1 youth current affairs show “Expressions” and the Department of Correctional Services to build 20 houses throughout the year for the underprivileged.

The “mother of the nation”, as she is affectionately known, took to Instagram to share the story and video with her fans and followers.

She said her “prince” Andile (Mpisane) visited the site where the first house is being built and she was impressed at the level of workmanship shown by the inmates, who are assisting in building the house as part of their rehabilitation programme focused on skills, training and return-to-work strategies.

The caption read: “Philanthropist duties. Good Morning, so yesterday my Prince @andilempisane10 and I went to do a site visit at #1 of 20 houses we will be building this year. #mystorymyway.We’ve collaborated with @Sabc1 @expressions and the department of correctional services for labour.

“When we got there I was really impressed at the level of workmanship shown by the inmates and I have committed to assisting them as part of their rehabilitation programme which focuses on skills, training and return to work strategies.

“We all deserve a second chance in life. I guess that was the lesson for the day: always learn from your mistakes and do whatever it takes to be a better person! Happy Choose-day ❤️❤️😃😃🚧🚧 #MyworldMyrules #Kwamamkhize #1of20 #Zikhulise20”.In the accompanying video, Mkhize said that she had been contacted by Expressions who told her a “sobby” story about a “family of kids in KZN who lost their mother”, which is now headed by a child in matric.

She said the story touched her and she wanted to assist.As I am celebrating my 20 years this will be one of the 20 houses I’ll be building. I think I can come and contribute and do something good for the poor child.

“Affordable houses is an outcry out there and I will call upon other businesses to help,” said Mkhize.

Her followers were inspired by her work in the community and praised her in the comments.

Scoop Makhathini shares words of encouragement to AKA following Nelli’s death

Scoop Makhathini has decided to share his thought on the death AKA’s fiance, Nelli Tembe.

The star shared words of comfort and encourage to AKA following his loss.

In a POPcast podcast chat recently, the media personality opened up about how the industry had been worried about AKA and Nellie Tembe since December.

Although reports did not specifically name Nellie, many were able to connect the dots, according to Scoop.

The podcast host proceeded to drop a bombshell when he said that he had been worried about AKA’s energy and what he attracted.

“To be honest with you, I’m worried about Kiernan’s energy. Like I’m not gonna speak about AKA right now, I’m just worried about Kiernan’s energy. He’s survived a lot of things, but the people around him don’t survive as much as him.“

The 15-year-old Limpopo scholar allegedly overdosed on prescription pills just hours after the video was shared on social media.Mzansi is saddened by the news of Lufuno’s suicide which was caused by another pupil over, what many speculate, a R5 coin. Many of our celebrities have expressed their anguish and have taken to social media to relay their thoughts.

Prince Kaybee who has invested a lot of his time in addressing societal issues will be attending the funeral of young Lufuno. When the country learned about her story he said, “May her soul rest in peace. I honestly don’t have words for this, the trauma in her eyes is so loud.” He then slammed those who were cheering the bully on, “But some of them were clapping when she was being slapped like an animal. Sad how her death prompted this, sies.”

He then said he would be attending her funeral.

Pali Tembe breaks silence over Nellie’s passing

Post main imageWe’re all still in shock and struggling to come to terms with the passing of 22-year-old Nellie Tembe who was engaged to be married to popular South African rapper AKA.The news of Miss Tembe’s passing surfaced on Sunday morning following reports that she fell from the 10th floor of a premium hotel in Cape Town. With some reports suggesting that she committed suicide, it is still unclear at this stage as authorities are still instigating the details around her untimely death.
SABC 3 television presenter and actress Palesa Tembe recently broke her silence over Nellie’s passing. Taking to social media, she revealed that this has been the most difficult time for her and the Tembe family. “I miss you with all my heart @nelli_tembe the mornings are the most difficult, and it’s only been 2 without you.”Actress Nondumiso Tembe is heartbroken over the passing of her cousin Nellie. She took to social media to thank the public for the support they’ve given to her family.

On Sunday Morning, the Tembe and Forbes’ families released an official statement regarding the passing of their beloved daughter, fiancé and daughter-in-law.

“It is with the deepest regret that we, the Tembe and Forbes families, confirm the untimely passing of our beloved fiancé, daughter, sister and daughter-in-law, Anele Tembe (22). Anele tragically passed on in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 11 April 2021

“We are still in shock and are dealing with our emotions, as she was an exceptional and gifted young woman, with so much life ahead of her. She had a sweet nature about her and was always nurturing to those around her.

“Her fiancé, Kiernan Forbes, is currently inconsolable and is surrounded by family and closest friends.

“At this hour of our grief, we humbly request that our families be given privacy and time to heal.”

The star has stepped on the toes of many after he introduced the new name he gave himself sometime ago, “Sivanna” to the world.

However, LGBTQI community were really pissed with his tweet as they called him out for doing nothing to the numerous cases of queer deaths that have been going around on social media.

They went on to share their anger as they felt Siv is more favored that the real queer people who all they get is negativity and hatred.

A tweep said: “When Siv Ngesi wears a dress, he gets applauded for his ‘bravery’ and gets paid for it. And then he goes back to his normal life. We get killed for doing the exact thing. We will hold him accountable every chance we get, you can bet your homophobia on it.
