Mapula Mafole bags nomination at the 2021 SAFTA

Mapula Mafole is excited as she bags nomination at the 2021 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA).The South African Film and Television Awards is an annual South African awards ceremony hosted by the National Film and Video Foundation, to honour creative excellence in the local film and television industry as assessed by the volunteer judges.

However, the 15th edition of the SAFTAs is set to take place in May 2021.

Taking to Instagram, Mapula shared how excited she is to be nominated as Best Supporting Actress (TV Soap)

She was nominated alongside two other amazing actresses.

Quabe twins ‘Viggy and Virginia’ were born in Stanger, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal South Africa in 1997 and they started their singing career at a tender age.

While contesting in the Idols South Africa singing competition, the twins were 22 years old. However, the exact date and month of their birth are not knownSinging has been in their hearts from birth. The pair are said to have started composing songs from a tender age. In many instances, they performed the songs in church.

In 2018, they wanted to contest in the 14th season of Idols SA, but they were not courageous enough to stand in front of a huge crowd.

The twins have since joined hands with DJ Tira, and their songs are performing exemplary well in the music scene.

KZN Entertainment Awards winners are demanding for their money as they are yet to get their settlement.

The ceremony was done in December 2020 and according to reports, the winners are yet to get paid.
At the event, it was stated that he winner in each category received a R100,000 cash prize, while the overall winner walked away with a cool R500,000 but none of these promises have been put in place.

Some of the winners were Nomcebo Zikode, Sjava, Dawn Thandeka King and Khuzani, among others.

The show was hosted by larger-than-life media personality Somizi and Pearl Thusi.

However, many of these celebrities have called out the organizers to demand for their money but nothing has been done yet.
