Cornet Mamabolo is a South Africa actor best known for playing the role of Thabo “TBose” Maphutla on SABC1 soapie drama Skeem Saam. Cornet have grown right in front of Mzansi’s eyes and as individuals, the actors that bring the characters to life have formed an unbreakable bond.

Cornet Mamabolo is part of the original cast of the popular SABC1 soapie and they took to Instagram to express how blessed they have been to be part of that incredible journey. His life have changed into meaning ever since he laand a role in Skeem Saam.

According to her mum Mariah Masilela, after complaining that she felt weak on Monday 3 May, she went to the local clinic in Inanda, Durban.

“But she didn’t come back. We only received a call informing us of her death. I was shocked because I thought her illness was not serious,” said Mariah.DJ Miss K was one of the first female DJs to make it big in a male-dominated industry.

She started with the likes of DJ Cndo, rocking the decks in clubs and local shows.

The two were later joined by DJ HappyGal, who was followed by Sithelo The DJ, DJ Tira’s dancer Slenda The Dancing DJ and other aspiring female DJs.My daughter loved her career. She had no time to rest. She worked hard as a DJ. I still don’t believe that she’s gone,” said Mariah.

On her Instagram and Twitter accounts, DJ Cndo expressed her heartbreak about the death of DJ Miss K.

“KZN artists United for @djmiss k-Masilela #Rest In Peace sweetheart @ djmiss K-Masilela,” wrote DJ C’ndo.

Actor Zamani Mbatha has bid a farewell to his character on e.tv’s popular soapie Rhythm City. He played Pule Ndlovu on the show. He said he shot his very last scenes yesterday.

Zamani joined Rhythm City late last year playing the character of Suffocate Ndlovu’s adoptive son Pule Ndlovu.

According to the statement released then, Pule’s return was meant to “spark a nostalgic chord with many of the show’s fans as they take a trip down memory lane, settling back to 2010. That marked the year when “Pule” (then not played by Mbatha) disappeared from the screens and headed to KZN, where he ultimately received private school education.”

The show will be coming to an end this July. Last year e.tv announced that Rhythm City was canceled after 13 years on the air.

It has taken millions of South Africans on the journey of authentic storytelling while simultaneously launching the careers of many unknown faces and some now famously talented musicians,

Rhythm City has secured its place in e.tv’s history books, and a legacy mark has been made. We want to extend our gratitude to the entire production staff, crew, and cast for their incomparable craft,” said managing director Marlon Davids.

Reacting to the news of the soapies’ canning, Zamani said he was sad that the show is coming to an end.
