Gigi Lamanye escapes hijackers, gives details about the incident

Taking to Twitter with the details, Gigi asked fans to keep a lookout for the stolen vehicle.

In her words, she was with her team when the incident happened and all she did was to run out with her phone even though it wasn’t safest thing to do.

“My team and I have just been hijacked. H1 JG 75 TF GP Hyundai 2019. Please keep a lookout. That’s why I have my phone. I just got out and I ran with my phone. I know it wasn’t the safest thing to do.”

Not too long after, Gigi took to social media with an update, informing the people of Mzansi that the car had been found.

The star is in the same category with Nadia Nakai, Nasty C, Yanga Chief and Zakwe & Duncan.

Boity tweeted: “OMG!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!! I GOT A SAMA NOMINATION FOR BEST HIP HOP ALBUM!!!!!!”

“God and my ancestors always go over and above! Honestly! My heart is about to burst!!!”

Kelly Khumalo has called out South African Music Awards (SAMAs) to remove her work from the nomination.

This is coming after the nomination list was released and many nominees were congratulated for their victory.

Well, it seems Kelly is not having it as she wants her work removed from whichever categories she was nominated.

Tweeting the official SAMAs account, Kelly wrote: “Dear @TheSAMAs I humbly ask that you remove my work out of what ever category you might have nominated me for. As much as I respect what you do, I also ask that you respect my hard work and effort. #TheVoiceOfAfrica cc @UMGSA 🙏🏽”

In her words, she feels she is being insulted and many of her fans agreed to her decision.

She asked them to respect her hard work and effort.

However, Kelly only bagged one nomination, Best Afropop Album for her ‘Voice of Africa offering.
