Sarafina is the storey of a group of black-South African youths in the country’s underprivileged district known as Soweto who live through apartheid. This gang of young students is led by a fellow student, Sarafina, a young woman who is politically aware and who loves music and is dreaming to become a star.
Sarafina is a film that focuses on apartheid, racism, persecution and demonstrations of the early non-democratic Mzansi. It was released in 1992 and became a part of the world.

7. Sindi Dlathu (47) born January 4, 1974 is an actress and musician from the South African Republic. She now has Mzansi’s feeling as she rocked Lindiwe’s part in the drama series The River. She was a film’s supportive actress.
8. The South African Actor is Dumisani Dlamini (57) who was born on 23 October 1963. He was playing Crocodile’s role in the film.
9. Born on 30 August 1943, John Kani (77) is a South African actor, director, novelist and playwright. In the film, he played the principal.
10. Dieketseng mnisi is a South African actress well known for becoming MaNtuli in the Skeem saam drama series. She was a film singer.
11. Khanyo Maphumulo (47) is an energetic and vociferous female.
12. Wendy Mseleku was born in 1973 and died at the age of 27 on 21 August 2000. She was a film’s supportive actress.
