South African media personality and Idols judge, Somizi Mhlongo left Mzansi in awe after he posted his picture wearing school uniform in commemoration of Youth Day.

Youth Day is commemorated every year in South Africa on June 16th as a public holiday remembering a protest which birthed waves of protests across the country and its also known as the Soweto uprising which happened in 1976.

This year’s commemoration comes at the height of a COVID-19 pandemic which has seen many people losing their jobs and young people are at the centre of unemployment.
