Mapitsi| She Does Not Know How To Behave As Her Living Situation Intensifies At The Maputlas’

There is no doubt that, things are only going to get worse in at the Maputla residence. This follows after Meikie finally caught up on the secret meetings that Mantuli and John were having.

Since Meikie has been trying to put puzzle pieces together, she has had flashbacks of all the signs that, Kwaito must really be John Maputla’s son. It is indeed a fact, Thabo and Zamo have been friends for life and have regarded each other as brothers… But how will finding out that they are ‘half-brothers’ make them feel? When there is tension in the Maputla household, the ones who tend to be in an awkward situation are the Maputla brides.

Every single time there would be tension, Mokgadi would find herself in a position where she does not really know how to behave. That, now is exactly the state that Mapitsi is in. She is also a journalist and has a blog. There is no denying that, what is happening at her in-laws is hot and very newsworthy since the Maputlas are quite big in Turf. She might be Thabo’s soon to be official wife, but her views do not really matter. Knowing Meikie, if Mapitsi were to really say something about what has been going on – she will make her feel like she is an outsider. Tbose may be Meikie’s favourite son, however; the drama that is involving his parents will affect everything around him – including the wedding. If you were Tbose, would you keep Kwaito on as part of your groom’s men or best man? Wouldn’t you feel threatened that, there’s now a person you’ve known all your life and now he’s a brother that you knew nothing about – more like a threat to your inheritance and all?The events that are unfolding right in front of Mapitsi will affect her and her husband to be. As is turns out that, the very couple that has been a model for them is now dealing with what could possibly lead to a divorce. For the sake of Pitsi, she might get into trouble for even suggesting that, they should move to the flat just to be away from the heat that is currently within the Maputla household.

If you were Mapitsi, what would you do? Would it be healthy to keep your son in such an awkward environment? Would you suggest that, you move out until just before the wedding?
