SAMA’s Finally Acknowledge Master KG’s Jerusalema

SAMA finally recognizes the Jerusalem of Master KG Tweeps don’t buy it Yesterday, international master DJ KG received a diamond plaque for his Jerusalem hit with Nomcebo Zikode. Jerusalem allowed people to dance during the national blockade and it’s no wonder it still wins awards around the world. The South African Music Awards (SAMA) finally decided to do the same and reward DJs and Nomcebo for their hard work.

People are still surprised that despite all the international awards and accolades, the awards did not recognize the duo.The award announced on Twitter that Master KG received this year’s International Achievement Award.

They said: “The pandemic may have made us succumb, but Jerusalem ft @Nomcebozikode gave us comfort.@MasterKGsa is indeed the mastermind of his work to make the world dance. He is the international # SAMA27 winner of the Achievement Award.See you the champion !” However, South Africans do not appreciate what SAMA does.

Tweeps accused them of deliberately neglecting them when the song exploded last year, and did not acknowledge or reward its impact on the world.

@Schwarka said: “‘We saw the champion, yokunuka’, they rejected the song last year and now it has exploded internationally and everyone wants to fix it.”

@TidiQuanMams said, “At this point, it is bigger than all of you, and you can have it.”

@Pheku3 said: “According to your rules, this song is definitely no longer eligible, right?

@sthabisalala3 said: “It looks like someone is correcting last year’s failure.

” SAMA is also accused of tribalism because they seem to have been acknowledging Limpopo artists, @ScanaRostova said: “Now this is SAMA tribalism against Limpopo musicians. This is a declaration of war. The leadership of this shameful entity must be condemned, and they must fully explain the three great masters of Monada, Master KG, and now Mahaz How did the artists fail to achieve their court…

This is a circus. @intwentlexulu10 said: When Babes didn’t win her SAMA, now everyone makes fun of her, and they didn’t nominate Master Kg.They all said it was tribalism. They were right about one thing that should be nominated by Master Kg.Yes, but it has nothing to do with tribalism.

Blame the record company or SAMAS” @Magnifico_sa1 said: Kanti, how do these award nominations work?I know I’m not a fan of Makhadzi and Master KG, but they are people ‘s favorites. This is something you can ‘t ignore.SAMA without these two True, tribalism must fall.” Last weekend, after Open Mic Productions bypassed Nomcebo for a show that needed her, Master KG did not fight for Nomcebo, and when people tried to hire her, Zanda Zakuza voluntarily became a substitute for singing.

Master KG was accused of not considering Nomcebo’s interests. They said that it was bad enough that Master KG was recognized for a song that was not his concept, but it was another matter that had to be removed every time he performed.
