Dominique Ferguson, family and friends bid farewell to the media mogul at a private funeral in Fourway’s Memorial Park in northern Johannesburg.

 

 

 

 

Ferguson died of complications of COVID19 last week at the age of 47. Dominique said that his brother’s love and dedication to his family is second to none.

People who also attended the funeral are The actor Zandile Msutwana said that the death of the media tycoon Shona Ferguson broke them.

Msutwana played Vuyiswa Maake with Ferguson in the popular drama The Queen.The Actress said that she was Broken and it was hard to express the feelings because they were hurting and that it was just so sore.She said that it’s unbelievable,It was hard to accept and he was everything in the space they worked in.She said that they all share one thing his Laughter and that that was the first thing they hear and you hear him laugh and before he even saw her he would call her Msutswana

At the same time, colleagues and friends report that they are still experiencing the shock of his untimely death.Actress and film producer Rapulana Seiphemo said that Ferguson did everything with love.

” Today is a sad day for our company and a huge loss for our industry. Shona was a good person who gave everything with great love and affection. He’s gone, it’s unbelievable, I really can’t do it. Believe it. I don’t know how to continue, but this is life. ”

Connie went on to gush over the love that they shared together.

“You’ve taught me unconditional love, you were not one for half measures. Anyone who has ever known you will know that my husband loved hard, he cared hard, he worked hard, most importantly he loved the Lord hard, unashamedly.

“You’ve touched a lot of lives Sho’, you’ve taught people how to love, black families. You’ve changed the narrative. I may have only had 20 years with you Sho’, but our 20 years, what you and I had in 20 years, most people don’t get to experience that in their life.

“How lucky am I. You loved me in a way that I didn’t know was possible to love, you had the God kind of love.”

She said that she would now have to go.

“I realise that this is going to be a journey for me. God is still God and although I am confused right now, I don’t know what tomorrow looks like without you because I just cannot imagine myself without you.

“I am happy to have you as an angel. I have all I need to be okay. Your race on earth might have come to and end, but know that you fought a good fight.

“I have to find it in me to continue until I am ready to join you, so this is not goodbye my love, because love like you and I have does not die.

The Death of a popular south african renowned Actor Ferguson has Left the Nation in the State of agony as south Africans Took to their varous social media platforms, lamenting over the sudden departure of Ferguson, the funeral ceremony was held today and high south Africans personalities were present, paying their last respect to the late Ferguson, however families members were present Also and his wife was given the opportunity to say her last words and memories with her husband who was laying flat in the coffin.
