MZANSI MAGIC’S TELENOVELA, THE QUEEN IS EXPERIENCING SUCH A HARD TIME EVER, WITH MANY OF ITS CAST AND CREW HAVING CONTRACTED THE PANDEMIC COVID-19, IN THIS YEAR ALONE.

Already, this soap of Ferguson Films lost their father, an executive producer and former actor, Shona Ferguson, who passed away earlier on this month, after he succumbed to this epidemic novel coronavirus. Ferguson had been battling for his life for a period close to a month before he was admitted to hospital in a very critical condition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His death shook the nation and the entire media fraternity, considering the kind of person he is alongside his wife, Connie Ferguson, who had created jobs for many people and gave them an opportunity to show case their talent in their TV and film productions.

We have now learnt that another actress from this soap was hospitalized for weeks after having contracted this virus. She was very sick and was hoping that she will make it alive. Fortunately for her she did survive as now she is recovering at home. Although she is not yet fully recovered but we are grateful at the fact that she came out alive from hospital as many people do not survive when they’ve been admitted with this virus.

A legendary and award winning actress, Thembisile Matu, who played the role of Petronnela, took to social media to reveal that she has been discharged and she was grateful to be out of the hospital after she contracted this deadly virus.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote:

I’m very grateful that I made it out of that dark space, that I am still alive and Covid-19 free. But I’m not fully recovered at the moment.”

Messages from other celebrities came in as they were happy she recovered.

Last week Mzansi Celebrity News reported that another The Queen actress, Thembisa Mdoda is in hospital fighting for her life after she contracted this virus as well.
