Happy birthday 🎂🎉 to musician and #IdolsSA vocal coach Margaret Motsage.

It takes more than just talent to produce an Idol.

There’s an entire team behind the scenes working to bring the magic every Sunday night to Mzansi Magic. One such gem is vocal coach Margaret Motsage.

She joined the Idols family in 2005 as a back-up vocalist.

“I’ve subsequently become a preliminary judge for the first leg of auditions, a theatre week vocal coach and I am also assisting with vernacular coaching,” she tells us.

Motsage has many years of experience in the music industry and has been a phenomenal gospel powerhouse herself.

“It’s been truly an honour to have been part of the brand for so long. I have seen phenomenal raw talent turned into tangible credible artists who went on to do amazingly well. It’s such a privilege to be able to contribute, and it will be a blessing to stay on for as long as I’m still needed.”

Having also been a founding member of Joyous Celebration, Motsage actually wanted nothing to do with music as a career.

“I initially wanted to become a dentist because my aunt was a dental nurse. She would often take me to her work and that’s where my interest was piqued. However, because of a lack of funds, I couldn’t pursue that,” she says.

Born in the 1970s and raised in Kimberley, she spent her formative years on the East Rand.

She says her tough, but glorious childhood taught her a valuable lesson that no one was going to give her a free pass in life.

Scandal: Plot twist, Ngema did not die he is just taking a break to focus on his role on Lingashoni

Scandal: Plot twist, Ngema did not die he is just taking a break to focus on his role on Lingashoni
So, vows were exchanged and we can attest that Nhlamulo and Lindiwe will protect each other till the end of time! The two went back to the scene of the crime to check if Ngema is alive so they can finish him off (I’m joking they wouldn’t do that) and surprisingly, Ngema is nowhere to be found! The two can’t even say anything about this to anyone because no one else knows that Ngema was at the river unconscious at some point!

Whether Ngema is actually dead or not, we won’t be seeing him on Scandal for quite some time and it’s because he has scored a role on Lingashoni where airs on 1 Magic channel 103. On Lingashoni, Ngema (Patrick Mofokeng) plays the role of Mandla who was shot ten years ago, with family and friends believing that he died from that shooting!

Maybe in future he will make a comeback on Scandal but for now, he will be laying low! I just hope that he doesn’t come back and cause problems for mama’s and her husband! Whenever they don’t really kill off a character in a way where we are sure the character really died, they just open up room for them to come back someday! Because right now all we can do is speculate that Ngema gained consciousness and went somewhere! I was actually hoping he died lol!

On Twitter, many viewers also think that he disappeared so that he can come back later since he’s focusing on Lingashoni at the moment!

I think he woke up and left.#ScandalEtv @fifi_mahlangu
