Qualifications
Sive Mabuya graduated High School with Honors in Stage and Acting. She has a BFA Degree in Theatre. She was part winner of the MAQa movie competition for amateur actors (2015).

First break
Her first big break came in February 2015 when she was one of five winners of the MAQamovie competition for amateur actors, sponsored by a washing powder brand. This gave her the opportunity to feature in the film Skorokoro, directed by Darrell Roodt. The judges of this competition were Shona Ferguson, Sdumo Mtshali, Nomzamo Mbatha and Roodt.
