More alleged misconduct reports against Khune emerge

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune’s future with the Soweto giants is in limbo after a string of misconduct allegations. Khune is making headlines after Sunday World reported that the star was suspended after reportedly coming to training drunk.

Sunday World has it that Khune and Mduduzi Mdantsane have been allegedly suspended from club activities for ill-discipline after arriving at training under the influence of alcohol.Despite the news thrusting Khune and Kaizer Chiefs into the top trends, both parties have yet to respond to the daring claims that have taken a toll on the club’s image.


 

Unconfirmed reports have it that the captain will face a disciplinary hearing next week. However, in the background of the ill-discipline rumours, the captain is said to be embroiled in several misconduct allegations, from disclosing sensitive club information to taking a swipe at the club.

Against these allegations, many were more than convinced that his Kiazer Chiefs future might be in limbo. Who is late Orlando Pirates player Papi Khomane?

Orlando Pirates has confirmed the passing of a former star player – Papi Khomane – who tragically died in a car crash over the weekend.

The ex Buccaneer – who died alongside his mother and brother-in-law- was en route to a family funeral in Newcastle.


 
ORLANDO PIRATES CONFIRMS DEATH OF EX-PLAYER
In a statement released over the weekend, Orlando Pirates confirmed the death of retired player Papi Khomane.

The team described the star – who also played for Jomo Cosmos – as a “man of few words, whose presence on the pitch spoke volumes.”

It added: “His transformation from a quiet individual into a formidable leader during games was nothing short of inspirational.”

Papi Khomane joined Orlando Pirates in 1998 and made 150 appearances for the team until he left in 2007. During his time at the club, he was made captain of the squad.
He played for Bafana Bafana from 1998 to 2000 and appeared at the Africa Cup Of Nations in 2000, where SA won a bronze medal.
According to iDiski Times, Papi Khomane won two league titles between the 2000/01 and 2002/03 seasons and the BP Top Eight also in 2001.
His father, Johannes “Yster,” was also an Orlando Pirates player who played in the 70s.

‘I’ve got 10 years left’: Ozzy Osbourne opens up about his health

British singer and songwriter Ozzy Osbourne has noted that he is content with death and okay with the possibility of not living for more than a decade after a series of health issues have taken a toll.In a Rolling Stone UK article, the legendary Rock and Roll artist opened up about his health and death. He also shared concerned his wife Sharon Osbourne was over a joint he smoked.


 

He further noted that that he has about 10 years left in him.

“At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed”.

The singer also shared how he has an assisted “suicide pact” in place with his wife Sharon. He also pointed out how despite the fact that he doesn’t fear dying, he expressed that he doesn’t “want to have a long, painful and miserable existence”.Ozzy goes on to explain that he saw how he’s father died of cancer, so he’s rather do an assisted suicide.

“I like the idea that if you have a terminal illness, you can go to a place in Switzerland and get it done quickly, I saw my father die of cancer”, Ozzy shared.

In 2003 Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but only opened up about his diagnosis in 2020. Osbourne underwent a major operation in 2022 when his health took a turn for the worse.

The artist had spinal surgery to try and correct damage from a fall he had in 2019. This reportedly affected the metal rods that were put in his body after a bike crash in 2003.

“It’s really knocked me about. The second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled”, he told Rolling Stone UK.

Ozzy Osbourne continued: “I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f–king rod in my spine. They found a tumour in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too”.
