Sfiso Ncwane’s Kids Take Ayanda To Court

Post main imageLate gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane’s two children have taken their stepmother Ayanda Ncwane to court in a bid to get their share of their award-winning father’s estate.

Snqobile Mzelemu and Sduduzo Dlamini represented by Pinky Dlamini, Sduduzo’s mother have taken the matter to the Master of the High Court. They are claiming Sfiso’s widow Ayanda is “dishonest and wants everything for herself” and want her to be removed as executor of the estate.

Snqobile who is now over 18 claims to have seen the late singers will and says she was left with nothing and that when her father was alive he maintained her.
She told Daily Sun that she no longer receives money and wants a share of the estate as she is unable to support herself.

Pinky, Sduduzo’s mother is currently not working and is unable to maintain Sfiso’s son that is why she wants a share of the estate.

A source speaking to the publication said, “For the past three years, Sfiso’s kids have been trying to reach out to Ayanda, but she ignores them. In 2018, they approached the Master of the High Court, to get what’s due to them.“They feel Ayanda wants to take everything for herself.”Sfiso in his will left his assets to his wife Ayanda. The will was signed on October 1, 2016, the singer died the same year on December 5.

The publication also alleges that there is speculation about the validity of the will and according to sources speaking to the paper Ayanda has been accused of sidelining Sfiso’s kids born out of wedlock.

The judge has granted them an interdict to evict us from this building. Well, here is my response, NAC, we will not honour the interdict to evict us. If you want to bring the cops, red ants or anybody, we are here. We are going nowhere, I want to die here. We are ready.”

The artists have been staging a sit-in since 3 March.

Uzalo’s Cast Salaries Exposed

Uzalo‘s problems seem to follow them everywhere when it comes to salary problems. The actor’s even approached Daily Sun to expose the production over salary despondencies.

The actors have alleged that they were not being paid their salaries and are not sure whether history will repeat itself. Despite Uzalo being the most-watched show on television and how their actors work tirelessly to keep it at the top, it’s mind-boggling how they are not being compensated for their hard work.

Just how small are these salaries? Find out below.

Although fired Sizwe Khumbuka and Thulani R20k to R30k along with Noxolo Mathula who plays Lily.

Nkanyiso Makhanya who plays Nonka’s older brother, Siyabonga Shibe, Wiseman Ncube and Nelisa Mchunu are pocketing between R25k and R35k.

Simphiwe Majozi who plays Sbu is getting R30k to R40k a month.

Baby Cele and Gugu Gumede are earning R35k – R45k.Masoja Msiza (Nkunzi) and Dawn Thandeka King who are the leads are being paid R40k – R50k and R40- 55k a month.

Nomcebo is one of the lowest paid with her salry ranging from R15k to R20k per month, she was followed by Nyawo, Madlala and Mbatha whose salaries ranges from R15k to R25k per month.

Salaries have always been a bone of contention, remember the controversial Generations actors who exposed, Mfundi Vundla for erroneously raising their salaries when he revealed to the media that they are paid, generally speaking, R55 000 for every month of work they do on the show.

Mandla Gaduka, who plays Choppa on the soapie, said that SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng confirms that Vundla did raise the pay rates. Hlaudi, however couldn’t go into too much detail as Vundla is not employed by the national broadcaster.

The Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa assembled a conference in an attempt to mediate the situation and alleviate the growing tension. This attempt was a failure in the end as SABC authorities arrived five hours late and the Generations crew also failed to turn up.

Mthethwa was hoping to give all the stakeholders a platform to talk out their issues, however the no-show from the Generations body did not help the circumstances.

The on-screen characters have said that Vundla has now gone missing and has not rectified the situation or apologized for his announcements.
