However, her directing roles saw her joining a list of star actresses who have since switched the floor to directing. She joins the likes of The River actress Lindiwe’s character, played by Sindi Dlathu. The lead actor on The River has since switched the floor to behind the screen after the showrunners offered her the opportunity as a token of appreciation. Leleti Khumalo is also on the list of actresses who have established themselves as directors and producers thanks to her screen roles at e.tvs drama series Imbewu: The Seed.
