After confirming the birth of her son Halo, actress Halle Bailey has taken to Instagram sharing how much she misses her pregnant belly.

‘MISSING MY BELLY ALREADY’
The Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey posted a video of herself doing a maternity photoshoot on Instagram.

In the caption of the video Halle shared how much she misses her pregnant belly.

The Colour Purple actress wrote: “Missing my belly already… had to do underwater pics”.

In the video, Halle is seen swimming and posing in a pool wearing a long flowy dress. The actress also posted some of the images from the photoshoot to her Instagram story.

HALLE BAILEY AND DDG CONFIRM BIRTH OF THEIR SON HALO
Halle Bailey and rapper DDG took to their respective Instagram accounts last week to announce the birth of their first child together, Halo.“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son. Welcome to the world my halo, the world is desperate to know you”, Halle Bailey shared in an Instagram post.

“My biggest blessing by far son son.. never been so in love baby Halo”, Halle’s rapper borfriend shared.

Halle and DDG sparked dating rumours in January 2022. After much speculation, they then made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 BET Awards.

In a YouTube video, DDG candidly opened up about fatherhood. The rapper also described Halle as a “great mom”.

“I love him [Halo] so much. I barely know him; he barely knows me. We barely know each other,” DDG expressed about his son.

He continued: “I wouldn’t have chosen [any] other person in the world to have a child with. We’re learning, [Halle is] a great mom”.

Bafana Bafana legend Siphiwe Tshabalala chilled with other African legends at AFCON.

Another legend present at the AFCON is Samuel Eto’o, who commented on Bafana Bafana.

Eto’o was shocked that the South African league was one of the best, but the national team struggled.

“I am baffled as to why Bafana Bafana (The Boys) have constantly underperformed at the Cup of Nations” he said.

On the second episode of the second season of Kwa Mam’ Mkhize, Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize told Sbahle Mpisane to fix her relationship with her father – Sbu Mpisane.

MAMKHIZE ASKS SBAHLE TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HER FATHER
Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize was previously marrried to Sibusiso “Sbu” Mpisane but they have since split. MaMkhize sat down with his daughter, Sbahle Mpisane, on an episode of the second season of her reality show Kwa Mam’ Mkhize to talk about their relationship.

The Royal AM owner told Sbahle she needs to fix her relationship with her father.

“Now that I’ve solved my other issues with my grandchildren. I’m asking you guys to fix your relationship with your father because no child doesn’t want to get along with their father. It has gone on for so long, it’s imperative for you guys to try and solve it. Sbahle. what has happened, it happened between me and your father. There is absolutely no reason for you and Andile to be brought into that,” she said to Sbahle.

She noted that divorce affects the kids and she blames herself for that.“Divorce affects the kids and I feel a little bit responsible because maybe if we didn’t divorce they would have a relationship but whatever happened, happened. We can never go back, but that doesn’t mean they should have a relationship with their father,” she said in her confessional.

She noted that people think she kept Sbahle and her son Andile Mpisane from their father. However, she always wanted them to have a relationship with their father.“I know people think I kept you away. But you know how much I always wanted you guys to have a relationship,” she said as she explained that she never had a problem with Sbahle and Andile having a relationship with Sbu.

 

SBAHLE WEIGHS IN
The fitness bunny then weighed in and explained that when she met in a car accident, she was unable to reach her father, but MaMkhize was there for her. Sbahle is Sbu’s daughter from a previous marriage, but grew up with MaMkhize since the age of three.

“You played the role to the fullest, even when you separated, you were the one to take me to hospital. If you were not there, I wouldn’t be here today.” said Sbahle in reference to her car accident.

“At the time, the divorce between mom and dad was already going on. Obviously I had to be on my dad’s side but when they called him, his phone was on do not disturb,” said Sbahle.

Sbahle went on to explain that she was then asked to call MaMkhize and doesn’t see how she will forgive her father for that. She went on to say that he needs to apologise to them.

ZCC Mkhukhu musician Kenny Makweng died on Monday, 15 January after reportedly suffering a stroke as a result of brain complications.

KENNY MAKWENG DIES
Zimoja reports that the talented ZCC gospel star Kenny Makweng passed away two weeks after he was hospitalised on Thursday, 4 January.

His management company KennyMak Productions confirmed his passing in a statement on Tuesday, 16 January. “It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved gospel icon Kenny Makweng, who passed on after a short illness.”

Makweng’s family have humbly requested the public and media to respect their privacy to deal with this difficult situation. They’ve also requested South Africans to keep them in prayers.

The Citizen reported on 4 January that EFF MP and kwaito legend Eugene Mthethwa put out a plea for prayers for the gospel star after he suffered a stroke.

Makweng’s management will confirm details about his memorial service and funeral in due course.
