Actress Thobile MaKhumalo has a teenage stepdaughter named Mpilonhle Mseleku. They are often seen together, especially on social media. However, Makhumalo does not have a biological child of her own and is raising her stepdaughter, Mpilo.

The fans of Mzansi Magic’s second most- watched telenovela – The Queen, are up for some sad news.

For seven years, we have been glued on our screens to watch the likes of Brutus with his language that can be extreme at times but we loved it. We were so used to the villian Harriet Khoza who don’t hesitate to remove you out of her way if you become an obstacle. How can I forget the every bubbly who made the show to be so much fun, Petronella and her husband, Jabulani.

They started the cast of The Queen since season one and are still here including the female cop, Vuyiswa. They were later joined by the family of Sebata which had Hector Sebata, Thando Sebata and Mpho Sebata, who left the show last year.

This show has seen some wonderful actors and actresses leaving it, I can count the veteran actress, Mara Louw and Rami Chuene. We saw it last year losing some good actors with the likes of Loyiso McDonald and SK Khoza.

Well , it seems like all of that will be a thing of the past now as there have been reports that The Queen is coming to an end.

According to the entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, the show which is produced by Ferguson Films will not be renewed for another season and will come to an end by December 2022.

The news comes as a shock to fans of the show who are still coming to terms with the production for firing fan- favourite actor, Vuyo Ngcukula who played the role of Schumacher.

Apparently, things went south since the death of the producer and co- founder, Shona Ferguson.

Connie tried to be a producer and an actress at the same time while mourning for Shona but it looks things were bit too much for her. The news have not been confirmed by the show or the channel yet.

Monday’s episode of Gomora promised a lot after Friday’s events. On Friday Melusi was on his way to crash Phumlani and his first love Thati’s wedding having prematurely discharged himself from hospital.

Monday’s episode had started with the bride and groom exchanging hand written vows when a beautiful young lady appeared uninvited at the wedding.

The young lady caused Phumlani to stop mid vows and for the guests to turn and stare in astonishment. The girl was rudely sent away by guards only for Phumlani to leave his bride to be on the altar to talk to his devastated daughter.
 

The daughter, Gugulethu asked Phumlani why he was marrying her when he knows she had made them suffer? That’s when Thati arrived for the introduction.

Phumlani later explained that Gugu was not actually his daughter but his brother’s, Thati’s late husband. He had asked Phumlani and his parents to raise her since she did not want Thati to know he was cheating on her.

The couple decided to get married despite the drama, that’s when Melusi came to interrupt the wedding as expected.
