he new season of real housewives of Durban introduced new members of the show, amongst them is MaKhumalo Mseleku. She’s a fan favourite as most people are sympathetic to her situation in UthandoneSthembu a reality show she has with her family. MaKhumalo is the only wife who hadn’t been able to give her husband a child, most people relate to it because they know it isn’t an easy situation for her.

MaKhumalo joined Real housewives of Durban, most people were excited to have her on the show. When she introduced herself Thobile told viewers that she wanted to show them that her marriage does not define her. However the radio presenter has since failed to show viewers that side of her. Amongst other woman Thobile seems to cringe its as if she’s so out of place.

 

 

 

Perhaps Thobile is still getting used to the show’s setup and the people she has to mingle with, some people take time to adjust to strangers. Surprisingly LaConco seems to have beef with Thobile she’s unapologetic mean towards her probably that’s one of the things contributing to Thobile’s character.

There are big personalities on this show and they can be a bit too much for a person who isn’t used to this kind of lifestyle. The show is about women however uMaKhumalo seems to only be free when her husband is around, she’s appeared with him on the show now too many two times. It seems as if the Mseleku’s can’t distinguish the content of their own show and RHOD.

MaKhumalo’s confidence seems to have taken a knock, she accepted an invite to the Halloween party but was shy and not as active as she was when she was at a getaway holiday with her sisterwives.

Thobile is a cool human being that can’t be disputed, she’s very loving and caring. However people want to see that side of her without her family, how she relates to other people aside from her family and husband. Its almost as if she has nothing to offer. Thobile is a fashionista she loves looking beautiful perhaps that’s the side of her she needs to bring to the show. She plans dinner dates for her family probably she could own an events company that would be so original for her aside from the businesses her husband own.

People’s reactions:

In each episode of #RHODurban we kearn new things about the Mseleku’s family. The #RHODurban fans are accusing Musa of using Thobile to get tenders and business connections from the ladies’partners. Fans and followers are starting to think that Thobile’s personality revolves around her husband and marriage. The only time we ever see her joyous is when she is with her husband. On the Introduction, Thobile says her marriage doesn’t define her, yet she only blooms when the topic is about Isthembu. S3, she shouldn’t come back because she looks lost, cold and fans are bored.

Thobile is those people that would do something to you in secret and then act like she doesn’t have a problem with you to people. Now she is stuck there being crazy alone. Thobile should’ve taken the opportunity to use this platform to brand herself and not continue with the “ 3rd wife to a polygamist”. She only comes alive when her marriage and Musa are discussed. Thobile needs to understand the brief of the show it is about the wives and not the”Real husband’s of Durban”. We need a break from Mseleku. Thobile needs to learn a thing or two from these women and leave Mseleku.

She will not benefit as long as Musa keeps on using her to get wives and girlfriends. Whereas he doesn’t wanna pay for IVF and other things to help Thobile conceive, because it’s expensive and not worth it, knowing very well that Thobile needs it.

It’s like her life revolves around musa and their polygamy. It’s so sad that she can’t just be herself as Thobile. Even Sorisha said it and it was not good. Thobile only comes alive when Musa is around or when they’re discussing polygamy, this is sad actually. She has allowed her marriage to define her so much. She literally has no life outside her marriage. I don’t think we will ever get to know the real her.

Musa wants connection with Sorisha’s husband maybe the fame. I hate to admit it but this show is truly not for them. Can we talk about Sorisha’s home that woman is living a beautiful life and i like that she is down to earth (based on how we see on the show) she is living large. That’s why you’ll never find her in negativity or bullying. She’s genuinely happy and it shows.

Right and in a way it seems like he is actually overpowering Thobile’s appearance whenever they appear together. Fans are now curious to who is part of the RHOD exactly… Musa or Thobile? Musa must leave these females. Even Jojo’s appeared a few times and that was it… we see musa on evry episode. To be honest, I personally don’t think Thobile is a great fit to the show. The “isthembu’ topic needs to pop up for her to be interactive on the show.
