Riky Rick, a well-known South African rapper and entrepreneur, was laid to rest yesterday in a private ceremony that was broadcast live on YouTube. Riky Rick was a well-known rapper and entrepreneur in South Africa (Tuesday 2 March). For those who are unaware, Riky Rick passed away last week after allegedly taking his own life. Riky Rick’s funeral service was as touching and emotional as one might expect.

 

 

There was some controversy as a result of the priest’s remarks during the funeral services. According to reports, the priest referred to Riky Rick as a “lost sheep” and stated that his death was “senseless,” as evidenced by comments made by some South Africans following the service. Riky Rick’s death is being investigated.

What a heartbreaker. I loved watching Johnny Brown. He never ceased to make me smile and laugh. And you nailed it, George – he had a 1000-watt smile and it was impossible not to smile just seeing him pop up on screen and flash his pearly whites and laugh. His impressions were top-notch and with just a bit of a jesting edge so you know they were done with love. It’s one thing for a person to make a mark on this world and be remembered when they pass on. It’s something completely different when someone’s mark is that of always making others smile. That’s a real gift and Johnny Brown had that. Rest in Peace, Johnny Brown.
