Former YFM presenter to join top SABC radio

While there are reports of new Ukhozi FM programs manager, there have been reports too of former YFM presenter who is set to join one of the SABC radio stations.

As we approach the new season of radio, there is lot of anxiety and excitement from radio presenters.

Some are excited to be joining new stations while others are shifting to some better shows. However, there is some sadness as others will face the chop. Often, when the stations change their annual line ups, there are those which loses their respective shows and others have their contract not renewed. It comes to the end of the road.

During this time, usually there are rumours where people are guessing who is joining a certain radio station.

Well, such rumours have started already but they are on Metro FM for now. It is not clear on other stations especially Ukhozi FM. It is shush shush on who could be joining the Africa’s number one radio station.

Over the weekend, there have been numerous reports stating Metro FM is bringing back its former presenter, Tbo Touch at a hefty price of R480 000 per month.

These reports states that the SABC GCEO has been hunting Touch and managed to reach this agreement.

However, on Monday, Metro FM issued a statement saying that the SABC refutes the reports that were made on Sunday World about Molefe retuning to Metro at such price too.

Well, on the other report which are seemingly true since this radio personality is no longer heard on radio, it is alleged that Y FM’s presenter, Khutso Theledi is joining Metro FM.

Sources says that she will co host a breakfast show with Moflava, weekdays.

Although the news have not been confirmed by the SABC but it is seemingly true.

Theledi was doing a drive show on Y FM last year after she moved from a 9-12 slot.

She replaced DJ Sabby who joined Metro FM last year as a host of a Top 40 charts.

Thuso Mbedu’s award used to roast Natasha for falling pregnant

Thuso Mbedu’s award used to roast Natasha for falling pregnant

While you’re here, please follow me.

Thuso Mbedu keeps soaring higher and higher. Just when you think she’s reached for the stars, she touches them and aims for the galaxy!

Thuso Mbedu is no longer just an international act, but also an award-winning international act! She recently won the Spirit Award for the best female performance in new scripted series for her role in The Underground Railway!

She’s an exceptional performer, she deserves all the flowers that she received and will still receive!

The downside though, is that she constantly gets used as a weapon to bully Natasha. The two are obviously friends but their paths will not be identical. Natasha’s R1 million scandal makes it even worse because South Africans constantly affirm that Thuso did not need to get citizens’ hard-earned money to flourish in America.

Instead of congratulating Thuso independently, we fall into a trap of dimming her light by dragging Natasha into the chat.

Natasha’s pregnancy has been doing the rounds on social media and she looks absolutely stunning! However, the tightness of the timing between her pregnancy announcement and her friend’s award win, has led to a lot of her haters drawing parallel lines between the two. In that accord, Natasha is deemed as a young woman who spent the country’s money recklessly and didn’t put it to good use while her friend is naturally talented and taking up space.

I honestly think it’s unfair to put them up together. They are living their dreams, separately. Even if Natasha were to get an international gig, she would still be bullied for succeeding with taxpayers money obtained through connections to Baleka Mbete.
