Taxi drivers and owners fired shots in the air to disperse a crowd in Hammarsdale, Durban, that wanted to loot a mall on Thursday night.

Municipality spokesperson, Msawakhe Mayisela, says those who act unlawfully will face the full might of the law.

“Our Mayor is very concerned about the fact that our city is still reeling from the effects of the recent floods. While we are all concerned about the price of petrol, disrupting business and shutting down the country is counterproductive. It will reverse all the gains that we have made following the disruptions related to COVID-19, the July unrest, and the recent floods. The law will take its cause in the event that anyone is disregarding it.”

Kelly Khumalo fights back in latest promo of her reality show. See Why

In the most recent promotional video for Kelly Khumalo’s reality program, the reality star hits back at her critics by saying, “They detest the fact that I am the one who did not die that day.”

In the upcoming third season of the show, the controversial singer is going to spill the beans about how she feels about the current Senzo Meyiwa trial and Jub Jub’s Mother’s Day posts on social media. She will also talk about how she feels about the posts that Jub Jub made about mothers on Mother’s Day.

Since the debut of the true-crime documentary Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star on Netflix in April, Khumalo has, unsurprisingly, become a trending topic on social media. Despite this, she appears unfazed by the attention in the trailer for the upcoming season of the show Life With Kelly Khumalo, which can be viewed on Showmax.

With the tagline “y’all gon know about me,” the third season, which will launch on July 5, promises to show the vocalist at her “rawest and most honest.” In this season, she will also discuss her problems with the soul singer Brenda Mtambo, examine her feelings on cancel culture, work on her relationships with her mother and sister Zandi, and continue her path through treatment.

Khumalo will perform in front of a large, live audience for the very first time since the premiere of her show in August of 2020. Due to the stringent restrictions imposed by Covid-19, it had been difficult for her to do so in the past. A number of special guests, including Somizi, the singers Wanda Baloyi and Sjava, and Dr. Hlengiwe Mhlaba, will make appearances during the new season.
