The in-laws of Khuzani felt embarrassed by the whole comments made by Legend Manqele, that Khuzani lied about going to pay the bride price. The Mathenjwa from Manyiseni in Ngwavuma said this created a bad picture about them in their community. The media reported about the feud that was between Khuzani Mpungose and the Legend production Barleader over the amount of R 250 000 which Khuzani claims that the production company owes to him.

Legend is the one who filmed the program that speaks about Khuzani’s life, which was entitled Khuzani Bo which aired on SABC 1. Khuzani’s mother-in-law Lungile Mathenjwa said they were so disappointed and embarrassed when they read about the news on the media which turned them into a laughing stock in the community. Lungile said she is rather saddened as the mother of the bride. She also revealed that the family of Mpungose came to her home to pay the bride price for her daughter as was shown on the program.

 

 

 

 
Lungile said now it surprise her that the legend told the people that it was all lies, her daughter has a child by Khuzani and he paid lobola and damages to the Mathenjwas, so now why are they saying it was a lie, where they tricking the family. She is very disappointed about the whole issue which has caused many people to talk about the news. The Mpungose family came to them with the production company and request that the Lobola be put on record and they agreed now they are saying that was an act and a lie.

Even Nolwazi who is Khuzani’s fiance is dumbfounded about the claims. Legend Manqele later said that he was not talking about what happened at Mathenjwa. He said that they were another incident where his company was told to film but they refused.
