Babes Wodumo had recently experienced a great loss when her husband and baby’s father, “Mampintsha” from Big Nuz, passed away last month before Christmas after suffering a stroke. This heartbreaking news also brought the nation to tears.

 

 

 
His entire funeral procession, from the memorial service to the burial, was recorded. However, after clips of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s mothers arguing were shared online, Babes has always been painted in a negative light throughout the ceremony for a variety of reasons.

And just when we thought the whole thing was over, another brief film of Babes Wodumo surfaced online.

She was performing on stage, as seen in the post below, and doing what she does best.

Tweeps continued by saying that she should be grieving rather than going to events like this because she had lost her spouse, but some would counter that perhaps this is her own way of grieving.

Mampintsha’s father, who had a hard time speaking at his son’s memorial service , expressed how his sons death has affected him. He expressed that he is having a difficult time processing his passing.

 
Mampintsha had only been in hospital for a few days and was said to be recovering well, before he suddenly had a second heart attack which led to his death.

His death was sudden, leaving his family shocked, as well as his fans and colleagues.

During his funeral, Babes Wodumo who had not been on good terms with his family, extended an olive branch in order to fix the issues between the two families.

Mampintsha’s father promised to stand by Babes Wodumo, as well as to help her raise her son, who she shared with Mampitsha. He also promised to ensure that the issues between the families are sorted.

Musician and reality TV show star Bongekile Simelane aka Babes Wodumo, wore a white flowy outfit and a blonde weave. She took to the podium flanked by her family and industry friends. She paused for a few minutes in front of the microphone while a song played in the background.

“To my mother-in-law, I’d like to say I forgive all your sins because I’m from a Christian family. Let’s put behind everything that has happened between us”.

Babes Wodumo said her final words before stepping off the podium and embracing her mother-in-law MaGumede. She also thanked everyone for their support and expressed her gratitude for being able to share the moment with them.

She also thanked the mourners who had been there for her throughout her journey of losing her husband and wished them all the best. With that she stepped down from the podium and went to hug and kiss MaGumede.

The rift between Babes Wodumo and MaGumede has often landed with unflattering videos with nasty exchanges between the two of them on social media.

MaGumede had previously publicly accused Babes Wodumo of disrespecting her and controlling her son. She also disapproved of the celebrity couple’s union, this led to her daughter-in-law threatening to beat her up but they eventually made up. The feud between the two officially ended on the day Mampintsha was laid to rest.

After unsuccessfully trying to make their marriage work, celebrity couple Grammy-award-winning music producer DJ Black Coffee and his ex-wife actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa called it quits on their marriage of eight years and filed for divorce with Enhle, citing infidelity on DJ Black Coffee’s part for the divorce and she also claimed that Black Coffee had physically assaulted her.

The Randburg Magistrate’s reserved judgement on Enhle’s application for a protection order last year. Addressing the media and public outside court, Enhle vowed to fight for all those who had suffered abuse at the hands of Gender-based violence (GBV) perpetrators.

“It is my duty as a woman to not only fight for myself but for every single woman in South Africa. The time is now”. Enhle said at the time.

Last month was busy minding her own business following her Instagram post commemorating 16 Days of Activism in South Africa, a post which is believed to have incited the now viral and since deleted tweets by Black Coffee reflecting on when Enhle accused him of being emotionally and physically abusive.

However things quickly turned ugly for Black Coffee, as he was reminded that he did actively cheat on Enhle and allegedly fathered two children outside of his marriage, while he was still married to Enhle.

As the situation around Black Coffee and Enhle was escalating, it seemed like things were about to reach a boiling point. However, just as Black Coffee was being dragged through the mud, a scandal about Enhle was then leaked.

This further complicated the situation, and caused even more drama to unfold.

In a shocking accusation, a woman known as Valentine Bango took to social media and exposed her husband Justice Huni alleged affair with Enhle. However, tweeps are suggesting that Black Coffee is behind Enhle’s smear campaign.
