On friday the 10th of february musician Kiernan Forbes was shot dead outside a popular restaurant on Florida road in Durban. He was supposed to perform at the YuGo club in the area but never got the chance too. A memorial service was held for the rapper on friday the 17th of february at the Sandton Convention Centre. He was laid to rest on saturday in a private funeral service in Johannesburg.

AKA’s fans and loved one’s are struggling to come to terms with his sudden death. The musician’s mother Lynn Forbes posted a heartbreaking picture on her instagram page of herself looking into her son’s coffin. She posted that her heart has shattered into millions of pieces and that it’s very difficult to wake up in the mornings and except that her child is no more. Lynn’s pain is one that no mother should have to go through, prayers for the family.

On the 10th of february music icon Kiernan Forbes (AKA) was shot dead outside a well known restaurant on Florida road in Durban. His fans and loved one’s are devastated over his sudden death. His killers have not not been caught yet. A memorial service was held for the rapper on friday the 17th of february and he was laid to rest on saturday in a private service.

 

 

 

 

After AKA’s tombstone disappeared from the cemetary just days after his funeral people began spreading rumours of theft and foul play but Josh Kenp the operations manager at Authentic Stones has put rumours to rest. Josh said that the stone was taken back because it could not be installed on the same day as the burial or else it would sink into the ground. It was only placed there for unveiling purposes. They will have to lay it on a concreate foundation would should be done very soon.
