Happy birthday to Uzalo star Cebolenkosi Mthembu

Cebolenkosi Mthembu (April 15, 1970s) is known for playing the role of police officer Nyawo on Uzalo. He was nicknamed Mr. Oxford because of his complicated vocabulary, which confuses the Oxford dictionary itself.
Nyawo revealed that he chose to distinguish himself from other police officers by using deep, complicated, and false English words instead of everyday simple vocabulary.

His character first appeared on Uzalo in December 2016; during the show’s second season, he joined as a support police officer and was promoted to detective role over the seasons.
Detective Nyawo is a true reflection of rogue elements in the modern-day South African police force, from corruption to working with gangs to chasing away victims at the police station.
Being on the payroll of gangs compromised his police force’s oath to protect and serve justice. Nyawo has a weakness for women and is not hesitant to be involved, even with prisoners. Currently, he sees flames in his relationship with Cocoa, the role played by Nomalanga Shabane.
Detective Nyawo, from Uzalo, works for Eskom.
Off-screen, Cebo Mthembu is a man of many talents. I graduated with a diploma in electrical engineering. Detective Nyawo works for South Africa’s power supply giant Eskom as a senior section electrician. He expressed his gratitude for a flexible work schedule that allows him to juggle his Eskom job and shoot at Uzalo.
As if the responsibilities are not enough for one person, Celo Mthembu is also a radio presenter for Imbokodo FM, a community radio station based in Durban.
Dubbed Mr. Oxford onscreen, in real life, Detective Nyawo is a brilliant mathematician; he teaches mathematics online and in local colleges.
Cebolenkosi Mthembu’s girlfriend
The actor is neither married nor dating anyone at the time of writing. However, he was previously in a relationship with actress Nanamhla Dalasile. The relationship did not last; the actor accused Dalasile of threatening his life. Cebo reported the matter to the police. He also filed for a protection order from Nanamhla because he felt his life was in danger. In her defence, however, Dalasile rubbished the claims. She said that the actor accused her of stalking him when she discovered he had a secret kid.

Polygamist and businessman Musa Mseleku introduces his 5th wife

Polygamist and businessman Musa Mseleku has never shied away from expressing his intention to take a fifth wife, even though three of his four wives were not in full agreement with him. Since gracing our television screens seven years ago, Musa has made a huge mark in the broadcasting industry, bagging reality shows not only for his family at large but also creating and producing a show for his wives and one for his kids.

Over four years ago, the father of 10 introduced the idea of a fifth wife to the public on their reality show Uthando Nesithembu which is currently in its seventh season.

The news was not well received by his first wife, MaCele, his second wife, MaYeni, and his fourth wife, MaNgwabe, who all shared that there was no reason to add someone as Musa was struggling to manage the four wives he already has.Musa’s fifth wife’s intention was also fuelled by his need for a large family, 20 kids to be exact. He also expressed that with the four wives he has, he should have reached that number and more.

In the fifth season, his second wife MaYeni, and his fourth, MaNgwabe shared that if he was to bring in wife number five they would leave. In isiZulu, Musa responded by saying:A few days ago, the grandfather of four shared a cozy picture with an unknown woman, holding her tight by the waist while looking into each other’s eyes. Unclear whether this was an April fool’s joke or his way of introducing the potential fifth wife, Musa recited the same praise he used when he expressed his intention to proceed with the fifth wife’s plans regardless of his wife’s objections. He captioned his post:

“A bahambe abahambayo siyosala siyincenga,” (the ones who want to leave must leave, we will keep pushing it).

Recently, Mzansi Magic gave hints about the fifth wife, announcing that viewers should tune in to Mzansi Magic to witness Musa Mseleku introduce his new wife.

When it comes to matters of the heart, Mseleku really doesn’t say tomorrow. It’s either fifth time is a charm, or more meets the eye. Stay tuned for more tonight from 19:00 on #MzansiMagic.
