“Kelly is an angel compared to me”, Zandile Khumalo responds to reactions on social media

One can have a thing to say about the Khumalo sisters and this is because they are mostly caught up in controversial discussions and what happened recently proves this.

It is not that difficult to tell that singer Kelly Khumalo is a bit more controversial than her sister Zandile. This is probably because Kelly has more status than Zandile, maybe things would have been different if it was the other way around.

Zandile’s recent outrage on Instagram suggests that she can be more controversial because as she mentioned, Kelly is an angel compared to her.

And this can be true, you probably noticed that Zandile is more open about what she wants to say and does not hold back on anything.

One might argue that it is because Kelly has way more to lose than she does and as much as that is likely, we should also understand that Zandile has something to lose as well.

One would expect her to be conserved because she has to focus more on her career as a singer. She chose to entertain matters that she cannot even control, people will always have something to say and she knows this very well.

As she mentioned, it is all about family to her, so everything else seems to come after. Kelly responds a lot to trolls, she does that on Instagram and Twitter, when people call her offensive names, she does the same in return.

But, you might agree that Zandile just takes things to another level, we saw her behaviour when she was still a witness in the Senzo Meyiwa trial.

If she can go back and forth with the defence in court, then she can definitely do that or even more with the public.

Other people might choose to say that the sisters are the same, they are cut from the same cloth. This is actually not the first that is making it clear to the public that she does not care about anything that is being said about her.

So, if she has something that does not sit well with her, she is more likely to address it where people can see.

INSIDE THE BLENDED FAMILY
Kairo Forbes is the daughter of AKA and DJ Zinhle. The pair were rumoured to be romantically linked from 2012 but only made their relationship public in 2014. Zinhle reportedly accused AKA of cheating on her with media personality Bonang Matheba in 2015 and called it quits. In July 2015, AKA and Zinhle welcomed Kairo Forbes.

The pair reportedly got back together in 2018 but broke up again in 2019. AKA then began dating Anele “Nelli” Tembe, who tragically passed away on 11 April 2021, just two weeks after the rapper paid lobola for her.

Nelli plunged to her death from the tenth floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. The rapper later moved on with rapper Nadia Nakai. While DJ Zinhle reportedly began dating musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz in 2020.

Despite their relationship ending, Zinhle and AKA maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship for Kairo. Zinhle welcomed her second child Asante Mohonsana with Murdah Bongz in August 2021 – who was also loved by AKA’s family.
