Multi-talented South African actor, artist, lawyer, and business owner,Clement Maosa, was popularly known for his role as Zamokuhle ‘Kwaito‘ Seakamela on the TV series Skeem Saam, so what has he been up to since then?

‘Sibongile and The Dlaminis’ actress Luyanda Zwane will debut on ‘Shaka Ilembe

Talented actress Luyanda Zwane is famously known for her starring role as the title character in Sibongile and The Dlaminis has joined Shaka Ilembe.Bomb Productions announced on their Instagram account on Saturday, 26 August that actress Luyanda Zwane will debut on Shaka Ilembe as Vundlazi.

A viewer @Nonhlanhla_Kalala of the hit drama series predicts the actress will play Shaka’s (Lemogang Tsipa) love interest in the show as she commented: “Intombi kaShaka” (Shaka’s girlfriend).

This will be Zwane’s second leading role as she currently stars as Sibongile Mbambo in the Mzansi Wethu’s first telenovela Sibongile and The Dlaminis.

She’s also starred as a beautiful teenage girl named Nomonde Gumede in the BET telenovela Redemption and a teenager called Lelo in e.tv’s canned medical drama Durban Gen.

Former Redemption co-star Pearl Modiadie congratulated Zwane: “I’m so excited for this! Congratulations Luyanda.TVSA reports that the Shaka Ilembe actress Luyanda Zwane, who current portrays the role of a domestic worker in Sibongile and The Dlaminis has also starred in Redemption, Durban Gen etc.

The Mzansi Wethu telenovela follows the journey of Sibongile Mbambo (Luyanda Zwane), an innocent rural young woman forced to leave her family and dreams behind to become a domestic worker in the lavish mansion of the affluent Dlamini family.

The show is set in the small town of Ixopo in KwaZulu-Natal and promises to explore timeless themes of love, sacrifice, ambition, and familial bonds.

Shirley Adonisi, who is director of local entertainment channels at M-Net revealed in a statement to TshisaLIVE that the airing of Sibongile and The Dlaminis will mark a significant milestone in their commitment to deliver diverse and compelling local content.”

Fans of the Zwane can watch the show on Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163).
